DJ Jer Music was established back in 1997 by Jeremy Brech of Harrisburg, South Dakota. Jeremy started his company at the age of 16 doing hometown school dances. Best friend Nick Youngworth joined the company as a sidekick mid-summer and traveled the area with DJ Jer Music. They were running one system at a time and were in demand by so many others due to the success and professionalism of the company. In 2001 the company expanded to two systems. Nick ran the second system for the company for five years, until he moved to is dream location of Denver, Colorado where he now is a DJ for one of the biggest night clubs.

In 2004 DJ Jer Music expanded it's third system due to the demand of their entertainment. In the next couple years, the company would grow up to 5 systems of great entertainment. We understand that we are not the biggest company and would prefer not to be. Some companies goals are to be the biggest, or the loudest. We don't specialize in quantity, we specialize in quality. Some companies try and expand their services by adding videography, or photography, where DJ Jer Music focuses on one thing, quality entertainment. Would you really want your cake decorator to dj your wedding? We don't try to do things that we don't specialize in just to make a couple extra bucks, but we will get you to the right professionals so we can make sure that it does get done correctly.

We currently running our 5 system company with great success and pride. We are staffed with 8 entertainers to perfect your wedding or event. You may wonder why if we have 8 people are we not running more than 5 events in one night. Because again it is about quality, not quantity. We have enough alternates available is a entertainer gets sick so you dance will still go on. Most companies will throw someone off the street on your dance or will not show up at all, but they do promise you can have your money back. How do you explain that to your guests?

Our current staff consists of Jeremy Brech - Owner/Elite Entertainer, Matt Keiper - Vice-president of Operations/Elite Entertainer, Daniel Jamison - Gold Entertainer, Aaron Sattler - Gold Entertainer, Jeff White - Gold Entertainer, Joe Holman - Gold Entertainer, Nicole Hoiten - Gold Entertainer, Matt Gappa - Gold Entertainer, and Koln Fink - Entertainer in training. All of our entertainers are hand picked for perfection.

DJ Jer Music keeps raising the standards in the Sioux Falls area and that is what sets them apart from everyone else. You will notice that the cost for great entertainment is going to run you a little more than those companies who just started or can't perform to upscale standards. We know, that is exactly how we started our business doing weddings for $250 a night. DJ Jer Music still books out years in advanced even though we still cost a little bit more than some of the other companies.
