Value in Wedding Entertainment

How valueable is your wedding entertainment for your event? How do you begin to understand what true value is? How can it help and how can it hurt your wedding? How do you find valuable entertainment?
These are all good questions when it comes to your wedding reception. Most people think that a wedding reception is dinner and a dance. A wedding reception is the celebration of the wedding. Make sure your celebration is worth sticking around for.
There is more to value than just price. Just because the price is cheap doesn't mean there is value there. We have seen many competitors raise their price because they see 2 to 3 other companies raising their price. To raise your price you need to raise your standard and make sure you have value. I have also seen companies raise their price because they are worth more than a veggie platter.

One of my amazing mentors Mark Ferell teaches us that the value we provide is worth more than a platter of vegetables. Imagine for me. You show up to your wedding reception and you find out that the veggie platter never was brought out for guests. How devastating would that be and how bad would that ruin the rest of the night for you. Probably not going to make to large of an impact on the night. Now imagine showing up to your reception and the DJ didn't show up for your event. Who is going to introduce you into the room? Who is going to announce the cake cutting? Who is going to take care of the flow of the event? Who is going to make sure that your guests are enjoying themselves as well as make them want to stick around? Who are your guests going to talk to when the need an announcement that someone left their lights on in the parking lot? Who is going to take care of that special first dance? Who is going to throw that wedding celebration that you always dreamed of? I think you get my point. Now the question is what is more valuable? The veggies or the DJ?
The other question is why would you risk your event to someone who is not valued more than a veggie platter. Sometimes people just do a dance as cheap a they can just to pass the time for their guests. If you purpose for your reception isn't to celebrate, enjoy, have fun, and create memories that please let me just rent you a sound system for $400. A true entertainer has more value than you can ever imagine. Don't sell yourself short by getting the cheapest price, get something with the best value.
